Naranjal

He is linebred to BILBAINO III on both sides of his pedigree who was a very important pure Carthusian stallion held in very high regard.

His sire (ESCARZO) is a grandson of ALBERO II, a highly valued horse with exceptional movement that he passed, without exception, to his offspring and also their offspring. ALBERO II's son NAVARRO VI was used as a foundation dressage stallion for a number of very important studs in Spain. I believe he was taken by compulsory action by the Cria to stand at the Military Stud but I am not sure which deposit (facility). The Cria used to do this with the best horses in Spain and had the authority to do so! So, the top half of his sire's pedigree is mostly Marin Garcia bloodlines and the bottom half is almost pure Carthusian.

On his dam's side, this are pure Carthusian bloodlines so go back to the old breeders who cherished the mantle of traditional lines and type.

The lovely thing about his pedigree is he has very important movement lines combined with beautiful old traditional lines and the fact he is linebred to BILBAINO III is a very important aspect of his pedigree.

NARANJAL has had an Equine DNA Test to identify what colour of foal he is capable of producing.

He is capable of producing black, bay and grey offspring, depending on the mare's DNA.
