Aniek Poels rode this afternoon in the 1.30 m Ghent in Flanders Horse Expo 2013, riding the thirteen year old mare Solid (v. Voltaire), Aniek was the fastest in the section. The Belgian Sam Polleunis was Emostonis (v. Vancouver). Second place was Wout-Jan van der Schans, third was Annalita (v. Argentinus). Michael Whitakers 10-year-old gelding, Landfurst 6, owned by the Gillespie Brothers, has sadly been humanely destroyed following a fall at CSIO Aachen yesterday.
