Calato Z

Calato Z is one of the few sons of Capitol I who on his dam´s side carries the famous blood of Landgraf, thereby continuing Ladykiller’s blood. An absolute must for every sport horse breeder. The grey Calato Z, standing 1.69 , passed his performance test in Medingen in 1990 and scored 125,87 for jumping and 122,73 for dressage, making a total of 121,83, that was good for a fourteenth place of a total number of candidates of 83. In 1996 he was licensed by Studbook Zangersheide. Calato Z was born at Heinz Heinicke in Hohenlockstedt out of the Landgraf I daughter Vanessa III {dam´s sire Calypso I x Rigoletto x Ramzes x} from lineage 474A and has already more than ten licensed sons. In the sport he first started under the German Thomas Brandt.

Like his ancestors Capitol I and Landgraf I, Calato Z passes on the same, fine sport genes. At international level already some twenty of his offspring are making a name for themselves, such as Chapman Rouge (Felipe de Azevedo}, Cleopatra 039 (Jurgen Kraus}, Calido II (Willi Melliger}, Mobilcom Graziana (Toni Hassmann}, Freya 165 (Hans-Thorben Ruder}, Jacaranda 10 (Jorg Sievertsen}, Coster (Christian Ahlmann} and out of a Calato daughter Colbert GTI under Markus Renzel.
