SIRE: Sunnora’s Son is out of Sunnora. {International Grade A} by It’s the Business (also International Grade A}, and has inherited the jumping ability and great temperament from both his parents. Its The Business is a International Grade A Showjumper Winning well in excess of £30,000 in a career shortened by injury. In 1994 he won the three major indoor winter Championships, EPD, Toggi and Parkes. 1st & 4th International Grand Prix in Veendam, Holland. 1st Grand Prix, Newark and Notts. 1st AIT Bath & West, 1st AIT Royal Welsh, 1st AIT New Forest. 1st Special Stallion Jumping Championship at Valkenswaard in Holland where It’s the Business beat Europe’s top 35 showjumping stallions.

His grandsire Jasper, won the Hamburg Jumping Derby and many other international classes. With a heart as big as a lion, and as careful as they come, he has had many admirers. In the 1995 BCM world rankings, Jasper has rocketed into seventh place on the list of top progenitors. Of course, this Courville son had already made a name for himself in International jumping as Little One, but he seems equally competent as producer of showjumping horses. Considering the qualities and ages of Legato, Jabot, El Padrino, Elton, Degina, Avontuur, Copa Cobana, King Size and Wodan B.

His great dam Alanda is a very successful showjumper in Holland, with numerous wins and successes. In 1994 she was 4th in the Dutch Showjumping Championships (the top placed mare}.

Sunnora Son Dam was an exceptional showjumping mare and competed internationally at world cup level by Steven Hadley and Geoff Glazzard, Sunnora was Irish bred helping give Sunnora Son he fantastic temperament.

As a youngster Sunnora Son was competed in the British Novice Final at Wembley by Derek Morton and Newcomers final by Geoff Glazzard. >Sunnoras Son is now one of the best British bred stallions. He is a Grade A Showjumper successfully competing in Open competitions. In 2000 he competed on the Spanish Sun Shine Tour with Carl Freeman with a lot of success winning a class and getting numerous placing`s in 2001 he won the Pairs Competition at the Scope Festival. He is currently well placed in the BSJA Rankings. Sunnora’s Son is a consistent winner and always competitive.

Sunnora’s son has been widely used and his youngstock are to be watched out for they all inherit his lovely kind temperament and his willingness to please. Sunnora Son`s progeny are very successful in many different equestrian sports and he has bred advanced eventer`s and international grade a showjumper`s. In 2003 Paul Barker competed a very promising young horse Temple Ryfield who is by Sunnora’s Son in two classes at the Horse of the Year Show the foxhunter final and Grade C final. Temole Ryfield has since gone on to be one of the leading showjumping horses in the country for the past few years and along with Paul Barker qualified and competed at the Horse Of The Year Show in the international classes. Another son of Sunnora Son is Sunny Boy II bred at High Offley Stud Sunny Boy II competed up to Foxhunter in showjumping before being sold he has since gone on and become a successful advanced eventer.
