Oddball a lovely bay mare, bred at High Offley Stud Oddball is an exciting prospect for the future both her mother and farther where internaional grade a`s who where very succesfull for High Offley Stud. Oddball has a lovely temperment and is very friendly and is sure to become one of the sable yard favourites just like his parents.

Sire Sunnora Son was competed in the British Novice Final at Wembley by Derek Morton and Newcomers final by Geoff Glazzard as a young horse. Sunnoras Son is now one of the best British bred stallions. He is a Grade A Showjumper successfully competing in Open competitions. In 2000 he competed on the Spanish Sun Shine Tour with Carl Freeman with a lot of success winning a class and getting numerous placing`s in 2001 he won the Pairs Competition at the Scope Festival. He is currently well placed in the BSJA Rankings. Sunnora’s Son is a consistent winner and always competitive.

Sunnora’s son has been widely used and his youngstock are to be watched out for they all inherit his lovely kind temperament and his willingness to please. Sunnora Son`s progeny are very successful in many different equestrian sports and he has bred advanced eventer`s and international grade a showjumper`s. In 2003 Paul Barker competed a very promising young horse Temple Ryfield who is by Sunnora’s Son in two classes at the Horse of the Year Show the foxhunter final and Grade C final. Temole Ryfield has since gone on to be one of the leading showjumping horses in the country for the past few years and along with Paul Barker qualified and competed at the Horse Of The Year Show in the international classes. Another son of Sunnora Son is Sunny Boy II bred at High Offley Stud Sunny Boy II competed up to Foxhunter in showjumping before being sold he has since gone on and become a successful advanced eventer.

Sunnora’s Son is out of Sunnora. {International Grade A} by It’s the Business (also International Grade A}, and has inherited the jumping ability and great temperament from both his parents. Its The Business is a International Grade A Showjumper Winning well in excess of £30,000 in a career shortened by injury. In 1994 he won the three major indoor winter Championships, EPD, Toggi and Parkes. 1st & 4th International Grand Prix in Veendam, Holland. 1st Grand Prix, Newark and Notts. 1st AIT Bath & West, 1st AIT Royal Welsh, 1st AIT New Forest. 1st Special Stallion Jumping Championship at Valkenswaard in Holland where It’s the Business beat Europe’s top 35 showjumping stallions.

Dam Niagra B was bred in Scotland before being purchased by High Offley Stud as a 5 year old and jumped by Derek Morton, as a 5 year old she won the 5 year old championship at Church Farm. As a 6 year old she qualified for three classes at the horse of the year show wembley; the Grade C final, where she was placed 7th, the Newcomer final, were she came 3rd and the AON 6 Year old were she was one of the favourites with the book makers finishing 3rd. Also as a 6 year old Niagra B represented the U.K at Zangersheide in the world breeding championships as a 6 year old she was the highest placed British horse coming 12th.

As a seven year old Niagra B continued where she left of she again represented the UK at the world breeding championships as well as qualifying for both the Foxhunter championship & the seven year old championship at the horse of the year show.

Niagra B continued her success into grand prix's & opens and had a successful tour on the Portuguese sunshine tour, amongst her titles is the breeders cup which she won at the festival of show jumping at arena UK.

Niagra B boasts many international jumping lines on both the sire and dam sides. You can trace her father back to Furioso II, who is considered one of the most influential sport horse sires in the world. In 1989 Furioso II was the top sire in Germany based on money earned by his progeny. His bloodlines can be found in almost all recognised International studbooks in Europe. Furioso II Offsprings include: For Pleasure - a member of the Gold-Medal winning German show jumping team in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and the 2000 Sydney Olympics, and named German horse of the year in 1995. Another son of Furioso II is Voltaire who as an 8 year old jumped 1.50m courses with a great deal of success. He showed his prowess in international jumping in 1988 in Calgary, Stockholm, Lanaken, Helsinki, Weisbaden and Wembley. In 1989 he brought his successful career to an end by winning the Grand Prix of Berlin. Furioso II also produced 200 state premium mares and at least 68 approved stallions.
