Azett

The stallion Aladin Z derives from the cream of performance horse breeding at the Zangersheide studfarm. His sire, the golden bay French horse Alme Z was a successful international showjumper with Francois Mathy and Johan Heins during the 1970ies. Aladin Z, who parallel to his utilisation as a stud horse in Belgium and Sweden, was also applied in showjumping up to advanced class, carries the blood of one of the noblest mare dynasties of Hanover in his veins. His grandam Gotengold is a full-sister of the transmitter of performance horses, Goldberg, who is so popular in Westphalia. Her daughter Sissi (by Sermon I) was mated with Graphit, to produce the stallion sons Grundstein I and Grundstein II (both private stallions Oldenburg) and the daughters Grundlage (dam of the stallion Carbid, Celle state stallion) and Gotenfrau (dam of the stallion Ramiro As, private stallion Oldenburg). Not only Azett's sire was bred from a distinguished dynasty, his dam likewise derives from a noble lineage. Gessy Z is a full-sister of the approved stallion Goldschlager Z, who was initially stationed in Zangersheide and is today performing covering duty in Canada. Gessy Z gave birth to two further approved sons, Almgold Z (by Alme Z) and Graf Gessino (by Gloden Graf). Mated with Domino, Gessy Z furthermore produced the mare Domina, who in turn became the dam of the phenomenal mare Carmina Burana (by Cartusch). This mare was the winner of the young mare classes at the Show of the Best in Oldenburg in 1992, declared the champion Diamond Ring mare of 1992 in Oldenburg, became fourth in the State Championship, was a highly remunerated auction horse in Vechta in 1992, was moreover the class champion and fourth in the finals at the 1993 Federal Championship. The great-grandam Avenue is a full-sister of the mare Almentanne, who produced brilliant stallion sons in Oldenburg such as Fiirst Agram, Furi-Agram and above all, Freiherr, the upholder of the Furioso II line. Viewed as a whole, Azett's pedigree, which is permeated with top class performance transmitters such as Alme Z, Graphit, Gotthard (twice), Lateran/T. and Agram is for all intents and purposes, nigh to a unique breeding composition.

Azett was the overwhelming winner of the 1991 stallion performance test, winning not only the rideability index, but also the jumping index.

Azett spent his initial covering year of 1992 in Rhineland-Palatinate-Saar. In 1994, his first Oldenburg foals were premiumed, of which 75% have been awarded premiums to date. The Hanoverian Association confirmed Azett's outstanding hereditary transmission upon scrutiny of his progeny and recommended him for the showjumping programme. Azett has a very high fertilisation rate in natural reproduction and is clearly orientated towards jumping in his heredity. His first offspring are meanwhile gaining their laurels in advanced class showjumping.
