Ampere

Ampere was a success from the start, when he left the arena as the most expensive foal at the foal auction Borculo. In February 2008 at the stallion show Den Bosch he was the convincing champion of the stallionshow. After he was the undoubtable winner of the 70 day performance test in Ermelo, with the following marks: walk 8, trot 9, canter 9.5, suppleness 9, self carriage & balance 8.5, ridability and work ethics 9, talent for dressage 9.

Ampère is the third stallion show champion of father Rousseau in a row. Rousseau himself was silver medallist at the World Championship for young horses in 2003.

Mothers father Flemmingh is the sire of many Grand Prix horses like Krack C under Anky van Grunsven and Lingh with rider Edward Gal. Mother Larivola has the predicate keur. Out of the dam line descent many successful dressage –and jumping horses like the approved stallions Mythos (s. Mythens xx) and Gringo (s. Ramiro).

From Amperes foal report on KWPN, he passes on very good movement, producing a uniform collection of foals from a range of different mares. The trot shows good length of stride and very good body use. The foals have a good easy canter, with lots of balance and self carriage, they also collect well.
