• The sire G Ramiro Z has become famous worldwide and was duly called the "Euro Stallion" of his day. Preferent Ramiro, descended from the famous mare lineage combination Raimonde - Ramzes X - Rittersporn. The Anglo Arabian Ramzes represents one of the basic bloodlines on which Holsteiner breeding has been founded.

• Ramiro`s dam is Valine who acquired international fame showjumping under the name of Corrale. She is a daughter of the reputable thoroughbred Cottage Son.

• In 1969, G Ramiro Z was the absolute top stallion of his performance year and was not only used for breeding but also successfully developed a showjumping career, ridden by Fritz Ligges and excelled in his puissance performances {up to 2.20m} as well as in competition where speed was essential. In 1992 he was declared Horse of the Year on the basis of his worldwide famous progeny, which includes numerous approved stallions and top sports horses, most famous of all being the super mare Ratina Z, dream of the showjumping world, winning both Gold and Silver at the Barcelona Olympics and also claiming the Volvo World Cup of 1993. However, his products increasingly distinguish themselves in dressage as well.

• The dam Zolinda, Keur Pref, has also produced Idaho, an approved stallion in Belgium. .

• Zolinda`s sire, Joost, a foremost progenitor of showjumpers with a high position on the Index, is by one of the best thoroughbred sires in warmblood breeding - Cottage Son. Joost produced valuable licensed stallions such as Ultrazon and Palfrenier and such good showjumpers as VIP, now an approved sire in the USA. .

• Zolinda`s dam, the Keur Prefmare Olinda, was a daughter of the world famous sire Lucky Boy.

• Grade A showjumper. A winner of many classes up through the grades, including Gleneagles Young Horse Events, National Grade C Classes, etc. Twice winner of the Open Sports Horse Class at the Scottish Dutch Warmblood Association`s Summer Shows and in 1995 winner of The Kingdom of Fife Open Championship and 2nd in the NW of Scotland Open Championship.

• Dramiro, as a 5 year old, competed in a few horse trials proving to be very bold and fast across country.

• Dramiro has produced a fine selection of first premium graded ster young mares and many first premium foals. Visiting KWPN official judges state that "He stamps his foals -well developed with excellent conformation and movement". He passes on his wonderful temperament and rich mahogany colour.

• His stock are regular winners at county shows and in 1995 Lismore Island, a 2 year old filly, was Youngstock Champion at the SDWA Summer Show.

• Numerique (6 months} qualified to represent the SDWA at the Elite Sale by winning the Best Foal/Yearling Award at the Summer Show. Was top priced foal at the Elite International Sale of Potential Sports Horses at Addington Manor in 1995.

• Dramiro youngsters are now appearing in affiliated competitions with success showing great ability and scope
