The host nation of Kazakhstan captured all the medals at the 2011 FEI Central Asian Endurance Championship staged in Talgar earlier this month. The Team Silver medal was awarded to France with a total time of 24 hours, 49 minutes and 46 seconds. The team was made up of Sarah Chakil aboard Sakalia, Virginie Atger aboard Azim du Florival and Cecile Miletto Mosti aboard Easy Fortnoire.

France, once again, showed their skill and sheer determination when each one of their finishing team members, Philippe Benoit, Virginie Atger and Pascale Dietsch, had final loop speeds of over 21.9kph. Two French riders topped the Meydan Open Riders World Ranking for FEI year end results. Virginie Atger, who was ranked fifth in the world last year, topped the list in 2010 by just 14 points over fellow Frenchwoman Sarah Chakil.
