Two French riders topped the Meydan Open Riders World Ranking for FEI year end results. Virginie Atger, who was ranked fifth in the world last year, topped the list in 2010 by just 14 points over fellow Frenchwoman Sarah Chakil. Baltonsborough rider Ros Clapp has been selected for the Great Britain endurance team for the World Equestrain Games which start this weekend in Kentucky. The host nation of Kazakhstan captured all the medals at the 2011 FEI Central Asian Endurance Championship staged in Talgar earlier this month. Coach Emile Docquier has selected Marijke Visser and Eomer for the Endurance World Championship for Juniors and Young Riders in the French Ibos Tarbes. The twenty strongest youth rider Netherlands currently has, with its mold Eomer much international experience in endurance. Dutch championship TREC was held last weekend in Hoenderloo. Seven riders competed in the highest class (T4) against each other. Renske Giesen eventually went away with the title.
