Endurance Team Selection Announcement

After a very successful day at Kings Forest, the endurance eam announced, on behalf of the Selectors that the following combinations have been selected from the World Class Start Squad to travel to Mont Le Soie on 30th April 2011 to compete as a Team representing Great Britain. They will all ride in the 120km FEI 2*.

SUNDAY October 30 saw a group of determined riders take part in the 33rd Arab Marathon at Larkhill Racecourse, Salisbury. The event sponsored by South Essex Insurance Brokers (SEIB) boasted a first prize of £1,000. After a year-long battle with the International Equestrian Federation (FEI), Somerset-based endurance rider Christine Yeoman has managed to clear her name. She had been investigated following a positive dope test on her home-bred mare CJS Gai Forest in August last year.

Britain`s medal hope comes a cropper at vet gate

Britain's WEG endurance team of Ros Clapp, Christine Yeoman, David Yeoman (all from Somerset) and Beccy Broughton-Booker had mixed fortunes in the States. After the first four loops, Ros was the fastest of the team riders, with Christine and David not far behind and a medal was on the cards.
