UK emerges largest exhibitor with a 50-strong group at Al Fares Dubai 2004

The United Kingdom has emerged as the largest group participating in Al Fares Dubai 2004, the fifth international equine trade fair, thereby endorsing Dubai's position as one of the leading centres for equestrian activities.

The Nottinghamshire-based Creature Comforts is one of the several repeat exhibitors in Al Fares Dubai 2004, to be held from December 6-8, at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC).

World Games for rider Ros Clapp

Baltonsborough rider Ros Clapp has been selected for the Great Britain endurance team for the World Equestrain Games which start this weekend in Kentucky. The 16-day event, which starts on Saturday, will see Clapp and her horse Nazeeka competing in the long distance horse riding event which starts on Sunday.

This will be Clapp's first appearance at world level, having competed in the European Endurance Championships in Assisi, Italy, last year.<

A Kutt Above and Jeremy Reynolds have been named to the US team's Long List for the 2012 FEI World Endurance Championships later this year, after victory in the recent 160km contest at the Priefert Ranch in Mt Pleasant, Texas.

The host nation of Kazakhstan captured all the medals at the 2011 FEI Central Asian Endurance Championship staged in Talgar earlier this month. Two French riders topped the Meydan Open Riders World Ranking for FEI year end results. Virginie Atger, who was ranked fifth in the world last year, topped the list in 2010 by just 14 points over fellow Frenchwoman Sarah Chakil.
