Vicki Thompson-Winfield - Dressage Trainer

Vicki Thompson-Winfield, Olympic dressage rider and trainer, spent over 20 years working with one of the Chief Riders of the Spanish Riding School (Franz Rochowansky) and is now based at Oldencraig Equestrian Centre offering her first class riding and training skills to livery clients and outside visitors to the Centre. She now trains with Johann Hinnemann.

She has represented Great Britain on a regular basis at International level, winning a gold medal at the European Championships and the Atlanta Olympic Games as well as being sixteen-times National Champion.

In 2009 Vicki competed on John and Toni Terry’s 5 year old Stallion Beltoni to the World Breeding Championships.

Vicki uses the Centre as a base for training her own competition horses as well as training clients and their horses at all levels, from Novice to Grand Prix.

She takes horses in for breaking and training, prepares them for sale presentation and competition, teaches on advanced schoolmasters and offers intensive training courses for many clients, both from the United Kingdom and from overseas countries.

Prospective horse buyers can choose from a range of specially selected quality competition horses from Novice to Grand Prix level.
